My MY12 GS ha auto wipers too. I always leave them off until I need them, then set to auto if weather requires. Turn off at same time as engine stop. 12MY 61plate FL2 TD4 auto GS Orkney Grey Roof spoiler full size spare

I think VM's should consider a 'latching' switch for auto wipers much as rear fog. ie, once ignition is switched off, the feature reverts back to '0' or 'off' condition. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice. |

They have that on the works van, the Auto Wipers have to be re-applied in the morning, could be on a time delay as it is only first thing that you have to turn them on again, but doesn't affect the Auto Lights, they work as normal. |

The auto wipers on my BM was a push button and turned off after every ignition reset. Used to infuriate me but now in hindsight I see it as a good thing...

No, Rear Fogs should be on a speed related switch say above 45mph they cannot be on, ![]() ![]() |

Dont get me started on people who use rear fogs when visibility is down to a mere 1mile. |

After parking the car I leave the wiper lever in service mode by pressing the lever and holding depressed for 2 seconds right after engin switch-off. In the morning I put the windscreen heating on and wipers are de-iced together with the windscreen. Upon driving-off I press the wiper lever and wipers return into the normal position |
