Australia 2011 Freelander 2 i6 SE Auto Fuji White

I have had my freelander for 12 months and just had the second service - what they called a major service (~$700). What annoys me is that the car has only done 14,000kms which means I'm really only due for the first (and minor) service.

They gave me the speil about a vehicle under warranty needs to be servcied according to the schedule.

It doesn't have to be serviced by a Land Rover dealer. The warranty is ok if done by a licensed mechanic so long as they follow the schedule. It's a lot cheaper.

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Santorini Black

Hi FreddyFL

I know someone that has a 3 year old Mitsubishi Evo 10 that's only done 14,000kms and they have to service it like it's done the full amount of KMS. Common sense tells me that they should cut down on certain things to a vehicle service with such low KM's. I doubt they would change the drive belt when only half the KM's have been achieved for example.

I can recommend Beechboro 4x4 in Malaga as a LR specialist if that's any help.
