Service deals!

Just been offered a fixed price service deal, by the local main dealer. £986.00 to cover the next three services. Includes all oils, filters etc!

Do you think it is worth it? 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.
2008 Auto TD4 Freelander2, now gone?
2013 Auto SD4 Freelander!

Two of those services are just oil changes, so no, it sounds expensive. Thumbs Up

Too expensive. I dont see any bargain there, your better off to shop arround for each service and play them off against each other, bet you get a much better deal in the long run. Thumbs Up

The Maindealer Discount is a bit hit and miss, where I am in the middle of nowhere in a sparsely populated area 15 miles off the M25' the nearest Maindealer is apparently 80 miles away in Nottinham Confused

It's certainly a little bit hit and miss. I live in Reading, there's a main dealer no more than a mile away and the nearest one it can find for me is Guy Salmon in Bristol! 2008 FL2 TD4 XS Zermatt Silver, Manual

Are you sure the main dealer didnt say £297 as what you have stated seems realy cheap for the full service with all filters being fitted. If so then thats a good deal mate.

I put in my postcode and click on the drop down menu and selected full value service.. and that came up with £197 Very Happy

Just has a look on the maindealerdiscount site, strange or not but of the 5 options offered 4 were from Stratstone, what does that tell us?, notwithstanding cracking prices assuming the work is done correctly.

Sorry Chris you beat me to it. Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.
