Back to the subject..... Whistle

Personally I cannot see the FL3 arriving for another 3 years at least. LR seem to be more interested in the Defender concepts at the moment and facelifting the RRS / Disco. I would expect LR to be dropping hints / teasers or even concepts of the next FL like they have done with the Evoque / Defender.

i sort of agree, but it was very late in the day when the facelift rumours came about

I have 6 months or so before i run out of warranty, then will see whats on the table then, extend the warranty or upgrade to a D4 XS/Landmark or maybe order a FL2.3 FL3 or what ever it is to be called. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Would kinda make sense that an FL3 follows the FL2, much like the D4 has followed the D3 in all but the interior, the engines and a few cosmetic bits

I was only just thinking the other days that the FL2 would probably be my perfect car if it just had a nicer interior. I can live with the seats etc, all I want is a D4 feel clocks and dials - an all in one infotainment thingy, ala iDrive and better storage in the form of arm rest type cubby hole.

Oh and a economic petrol engine would be nice - an Si4 ??? Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints

Yes and Yes and Yes and twice more yes. In fact last year when we (no her Ladyship) was debating about increasing the head count in our household we were inundated by LR salesmen offering long weekend test drives of MY2011 D4's. So we took advantage and chose each time on 5 occasions a different specification and body/interior trims for our all expenses paid little motoring holidays.

Fat - i.e. larger (width) than an FL2, and to be fair the more generous luggage space was very welcomed by the two ladies. However they were floppy as in rolls more around hairpin bends on high alpine passes than the FL2 when request to gallop rather than just trot along. But to cap it all the D4 drinks more than a Scotsman on Burns night every day of the week. No thank you. We enjoy the more composed, frugal and sprightly FL2 whilst our head count remains at three.

And at three the FL2 can just about cope with the girl's wardrobes - but only just Surprised

SsangYong are producing the XIV-1 to copy the Evoque.

I couldnt believe it when I saw the photo below, i couldnt stop drooling, i have never seen anything so beautiful in all my life, its absolutely perfect in every way, curves in all the right places, a gorgeous front end and i bet the rear is equally as elegant, im saving up for one right now, what do you all think?

not too sure about the car in the background though....

Heres a few more, strange that they have opted to show it off in orange - the same trick LR did with the FL2 when it was announced, Tandori Orange anyone??
