I was talking to a Halewood Employee today who said they had been shown details of a 7 seater this week and they all hoped it was to be built at Halewood.
Also mentioned a Freelander going through the factory now with 'mods'/ body kit ??

Well I was talking to a friend of a friend today who used to work near Halewood and he was telling me that they might be bringing out a 9 seater version where the last row of seats can be turned into a chicken coup. Apparently, it will only come in white with blacked out wheels although there will be a special ' Oldport' version for Switzerland and a special version for Derbyshire with a droning sound and blue light on top !!Think he may have been ' pulling my chain ' !!

If you live near "PIG Hill" that blue light variant is for your local residents not Derbyshire, and, by the time any Land Rover model gets to the streets of Switzerland it is indeed an "Old" model.

By the way is that "chain" you are referring to the chain link fencing & chained shackles that keeps insane chaps under restraint Rolling Eyes Your friend is indeed wise.

I do indeed live near ' pig hill '. In fact, I can see it out of my window glowing in the distance from my vantage point upon the downs. As suggested, some locals will undoubtedly be getting free accomodation tonight. Photos are unlikely at this time, project too secretive you see !! As for Derbyshire, well my mil lives there so best i say no more as don't want to be seen inciting anything on a public forum ! Oh, forgot to mention earlier, CSBH is an option but owners will have to have a ' chicken offset' sticker in their windows !! Now where did i leave my wine.........

What is CSBH?
