Since doing the rear pillars I have felt my eyes were being assaulted by the B pillars so had a little wrapping session again ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

After as gentle wrapping Very Happy

I forgot to take the before so the original is the other side but it still shows the effect.

Happy with the look now to get the handles and mirrors done in gloss and get black side grills.... If your going through hell, keep going!

Hi both,

Thank you for your comments.

I looked at the B pillars to remove them but they looked an a Censored e to remove if at all possible as they looked bonded on so I removed all the rubbers surrounding them and wrapped them on the car. The fact that they are completely flat they didn't require any heat so it was really easy all I needed was a card (Starbucks card Very Happy but there are other cards available) and a craft knife.

I think there's something wrong with me as I'm now looking at that little pillar between the rear door window and the quarter light and thinking hmmm Laughing If your going through hell, keep going!

Does look good. I'm tempted to try something on the DS. I'm recalling that some forum members in Oz had the rear pillars gloss painted to similar effect. That was a few years back before wrapping became so popular. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

Started this yesterday, not a very difficult job. Ended up with a few dog hairs between the wrap and panel and had to re-do it.

Also, the clips, I thought it was a 1 piece, but actually you need to pry one out of the other which releases it from the popper. After breaking the first one I realised this. Hope this helps somebody else.

Small point- when removing the plastic studs, make sure you just lever out the top, put a screwdriver in fully and you'll end up trying to prise out the stud along with the plug.
