Well not long left till iPhone 8 is unveiled. Wonder if the 5.8" screen will be the biggest size? I've still got my 6 Plus. I've replaced the battery 3 times, charging port once and the loudspeaker 4 times. I've done all the repairs myself Like a Land Rover it's been a joy to work on

It's just a pity I cannot seem to find genuine replacement components for it hence certain parts being replaced more than once. My loudspeaker is still crap on it Only thing genuine I've found was the battery!

I bought the standard size iPhone 6 on its day of release and just couldn't get on with it. It was too big for me plus awkward to hold - lost count of the times I dropped it. I bought it sim free and replaced it twice due to damaging it by dropping - once in water and once when it came out of my pocket when riding a motorcycle. I also had to have a new screen fitted too. Wasn't insured either so it cost me well over a grand. When the 7 came out and it was basically the same size, I went out and bought the SE. Much better for me. Gave the 6 to the wife and she's not impressed with it compared to her old 5. If the 8 is the same size as the SE and it does something that may be of use to me I might be interested in one but I don't think it will be. Perhaps it's me but I can't get on with these phones the size of a small tablet! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I'll be sticking with my 6S Plus. I've had 3, 4S, 5, 6 and 6S Plus but they are getting too expensive.

May change my iPad mini 4 to an iPad Pro 10.5. Ideally I'd like the iMac Pro though. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

The 5.8" screen is rumoured to be the size of a 6. Due to there being no bezels etc. I understand for some the 6 / 6 Plus were a bit large but for myself the 6 Plus was / is really handy. Working in an office the size is no problem. At the gym it is a bit large but I leave it under the bench/on the floor etc. On the farm again it's really no problem you get used to it size wise. I've just bought the iPad Pro 10.5. Passed my iPad air2 on to the wife and sold her mini 4 on eBay two weeks ago for £272.00!

Apart from the slight increase in size, better camera and speakers, I can't say I've noticed much more from it over my air2 but then again I just use it for surfing, emails, catch-up TV and nothing clever! I wouldn't know what to do with an iMac pro though but I like the sound of it!  Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Well, they're out. From £699 for the entry level iPhone 8 to £1,149 for the top of the range iPhone X. I think they're taking the now. I use my iPad for pretty much the same thing.
