Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Firenze Red

Ive just taken the plunge as well. Expected delivery date of first week in December. As for covers/ cases, I actually bought the leather one from Apple (49 eek) for my 7plus and to be fair, the number of times Ive dropped the damn thing, theres never been one bit of damage on the 7+ at all. Probably the best actual cover for a phone Ive had (also the most expensive by a long shot).
That being said, Ive order one for the 10 but in charcoal this time.

Well, the queues were building outside the Lakeside Apple store this morning. I'm assuming the iPhone X was on sale. They had a dedicated queue area and security. I stopped counting at.....3 mugs, sorry, customers. Laughing

Thats an economy case Rolling with laughter my 7 plus resides in a Lifeproof Nuud even though the phone is water resistant it was purchased at the same time that I bought the phone in March. Ive bought this IP 68 rated case which also hads great military grade drop protection. On this model the screen is still unprotected so you get the full functionality .

Its been under the water when Ive been wading in the Wharfe , propped on drystone walls while Ive been repairing them , on the garage floor while Ive looked at YouTube how to tutorials to change brake discs.

When I look at all the scuffs on the case I dread to think how the phon would have looked without it .

Its funny how all my buddies lambast iPhones in particular and smartphones in general , but when we need a taxi, want directions to a restaurant, need a quick way to pay the bill, and a hundred and one other things ,?guess who ends up with the job ? 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Think I might wait till the 6.5 screen is launched next year if the rumours are accurate. The X is not whats its cracked up to be the screen is taller but narrower. This is the best comparison I could get with them being attached to a security lead. I do all of my browsing in portrait mode! Landscape is only used if Im watching something. Having seen the X in the flesh Im
flabbergasted that with all the videos I watched I did not see one person say that the screen is actually narrower.

The Note 8 is the same - longer but narrower, so when watching videos in landscape you get big black bars either side. Steve

Seems like there are no queues at the stores as they don't have any stocks, you can pre order though.

Did all mine over the phone, the call agent was in Greece! and there was only 1 available X at the time and that was at Apple store in Birmingham.

They post to you when stocks come available, brill service, mine should arrive around 4th Dec.  MY2014 SD4 XS

Mine arrived on Thursday and Im well pleased with it. Ive got a cover from Amazon thats clear on the back so you can still see the phone. A cover is a wise choice for me as Ive dropped the other one several times.

I love the Face ID and the Animoji are a fun novelty. Although the screen is slightly narrower, its a larger screen than the 7 Plus yet the phone is physically smaller.

Very fast too Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I was all for the iPhone 8 but having seen a work colleagues X, Im thinking that could be my next phone, the colours on the screen looked amazing. But 1100 for a phone, ouch. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

That’s an interesting link and it seems credible Thumbs Up

I’d be happy with an iPhone X Plus but, after 3 generations of iPhone (4, 6+ 16Gb & 6+ 128Gb), the price is simply too high to be taken seriously. There’s a transition point from being a dedicated early adopter of new technology, to being taken for a fool and these new prices have now passed that threshold!

For the first time, I’m now SIM only on the 3 x iPhone 6 Plus phones that I run and they won’t be upgraded until they are beyond economic repair.

Ive read a few articles that the 6.5”’iPhone will be cheaper than the X. Analysts are stating it will start from £800! MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

With Apple’s track record, that would surprise me a lot.
