England 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red

Just an update the new turbo as gone to the great scarp yard in the sky Shocked the garage not sure what as failed on it maybe something electronic anyway whatever needs replacing they are doing under warranty , and are dropping a loan car off 1st thing Tuesday and have been told the freelander will be repaired for Friday ,if it goes again it will be a case of an independent report to see what if anything they have or have not done and maybe some sort of legal action if they have messed up .

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Zermatt Silver

Had mine replaced by TuboPac of Durham last year £1300 with a service. So far no issues.
Mine is an 09 plate. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.

This will be the second new turbo in a space of five weeks after the original turbo went AWOL at 48 thousand miles so I am not holding much hope this time it will be any better at least it's been replaced under warranty but as I said in my last post I will take them to court to recover costs if it turns out to be something they have or have not done if it happens again .
