I had my MY08 FL2 TD4 HSE with DPF checked a month ago and got this DTC "P2452-00 Diesel particulate filter pressure sensor A circuit".Does anyone have any idea where this sensor located? Thanks for your feedback.

If you type P2452 into Google you get lots of hits about DPF. When I had a problem recently with a DPF temp sensor the LR Assist guy had a look underneath and said that the DPF hose was perished and needing fixing urgently. Might be worth having a look at yours. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Thanks for your reply.What you mentioned I will definitely check before replacing a new sensor,including hose/hose port loose,cracked,broken.Is this so-called differential pressure sensor in the service manual?

The sensor is 'bank' A, therefore the first one. I think this is LR001370, if you google that it will show you. Not 100% on this, but that is what I think it is.

I googled LR001370 and got the result of EXHAUST OXYGEN SENSOR FRONT but a pressure sensor,I am confused.

Hi Wayne, yes that is what I meant. Like I said I am not sure if this is correct. Do you have access to http://cat.lrparts.ru this is where I got the picture, you could search that for the correct sensor?

Check the rubber hoses have not split or degraded. Sensor (number 3) itself should be LR008463.

Thanks for your information.This is what I am wondering if the sensor in my DTC refers to differential pressure sensor.Is there any other pressure sensor in exhaust system?

There is no other pressure sensor in the exhaust system associated with that code or the DPF, just a measurement before the DPF and one after with the ideal pressure being equal. If the DPF is full or partially full I would have expected the FL2 to display so on the dash, so it points to a faulty sensor and/or pipe leak. Also disconnect and reconnect the plug/socket at the bulkhead sensor to ensure a good clean connection.

I have just been looking at my bill for sorting out my problem Slightly different but hopefully relevant. I had a reduced power message and the code P0546-00 ex gas temp sensor circuit high (bank 1). This turned out to be misleading as the dealer changed that sensor and within a couple of miles the fault came back. This time they changed the second sensor. The service manager told me that sometimes these sensors give false readings since the ECU is trying to compensate for problems elsewhere. They also changed the DPF hose
The sensors were LLR015455 and LLR070166 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

Thanks for all you gentlemen's feedback,I booked in for a further investigation next monday,let's see what I'm gonna find.

Well,I went to local dealer here in Taipei and had a fully check of all pipe joints,wires,connectors on DPF/differential pressure snesor and found no damage/loose,the strange thing is the P2452 was gone by itself .But the mechanic did find another thing will cost me a lot,the broken control shaft inside intake manifold,another visit to dealer scheduled in the last day this year.
