Yes I left it in for a while and am now running on the Volvo maps, I can see the difference in the mapping but I have no idea what updates to the system have taken place.

Dunkley201 mentioned the speed cameras has anybody figured out how to use these ?

If I made a backup copy of the (an ISO image) then swapped the name of the speedcamera database with lets say the petrol station database name, then burn a new disc with the altered ISO would then displaying the POI for petrol stations actualy display speedcameras.

I don't know if this is possible, any computer whizz kids out there ? What if there were no hypothetical situations?

Gunfa, I'm no computer wizz, but I see your thinking. However, all the existing LR POIs are passive, where a Speed Cam needs to be active, ie you need an audible warning some distance before you pass it, not just visual. I don't think the LR sat nav is set up for this. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Does anyone know what pressing version on the service screen (accessed by code 295660) does. Will it display the current version of the maps loaded?

Please remember that I am not responsible if ANYTHING AT ALL goes wrong while you are trying this.

First enter the Menu screen (opens after you press 'agree' to LR's disclaimer or press the 'menu' button in the left-hand corner).
On the menu screen press the center of the top bar for 5 seconds. This is where the hidden button is located.
See pic below:

Now you will see the access screen as in the next pic:

This is where you enter the codes Wink
