Does it have an electronic actuator?
Seemingly, they changed it to the type that I have in late 2010.
The turbo is water cooled. |

UPDATE.
ECU is damaged and needs to be replaced at approx £800 !
Only advice I can give is "Never jump start another car with a Freelander 2" |

Hard reset done.
Fault located to turbo, could be the ECU that controls it or possibly sticky variable vanes.
Will keep this thread updated as things progress.

Have you done what the dealer suggested?
Remove both leads from your battery, hold both leads together and leave them like that for 5 mins, this will drain any Capasators in the numerous ecu's and ... |
