As I said before I had mine changed a week ago, but now water is coming in from the wash wiper system. I think that the little orifice is not sitting properly on the light assembly. I will go back to the dealers tomorow. Any idea?

the nozzle has to be seated properly and there is a tiny "O" ring that must be in place. The O ring sometimes gets lost when the unit is taken off and put back again or the plastic light unit replaced (the pipes and nozzle are all just re-fitted).
There is a video on this site somewhere that shows the process of removing and refitting the high brake light that I found very useful when replacing mine a while ago.

I have the leak from the washer nozzle. I have the light apart but can't figure out how to remove the nozzle without busting something! Any ideas please.

I was able to pull the nozzle straight off without damaging anything and found that the rubber O-ring had perished. I wasn't sure if the O-ring should sit in the recess near the tip of the nozzle or further up the nozzle against the flange. I tried a 5.5 mm x 1mm O-ring against the flange and couldn't get the nozzle to engage, so ended up fitting a 4.5mm x 1mm O-ring in the recess. It hasn't leaked since.

Thank you so much for the help. I managed to remove the nozzle without breakage by just pulling and hoping! I found an 'o' ring to fit and it all went back together very easily. And no water so far, fingers crossed!

By the way this forum is priceless. Just so much knowledge is in here.

There's a video here showing how to change the brake light, but they don't mention the O ring on the washer jet which came away when I changed mine.

FOUND IT!!

The first real bodge up on my car Big Cry when I tried to pop the light unit by releasing the two retaining clips it would not budge - reason - some p**t had fitted the high level unit with what looks like roofing mastic!
It's obviously leaked before at some stage prior to my ownership.
Cleaned it all off and re-fitted with E profile weatherproof tape and it's seated fine with no leaks.
While I was there I upgraded the filament bulb to an LED which better matches the brake lights.

Hi All

I have the leak on my MY13 Sad

Can anyone tell me if this will do the trick?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/10m-Assorted-Prof...6CC4PE11ZA

Just apply a strip around the light and re fit?

Thanks

No sorry it was pretty poor so I reverted to the original bulb - didn't seem to suit the refraction pattern of the lens - much better now No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS
