United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Orkney Grey

I havs a 2013 GS and have played music via bluetooth but to be honest I don't know how, when I fathom out what's going on I'll let you know. It seems to select one file from my phone but will only play four of the songs in it.

its to do with how the music files are stored on your phone, if you store them in folders it wont work very well so the best way is to create 1 big playlist for the car. it should then play all the tracks in the playlist

pre-2012 models with the older Alpine head unit cannot play music through the Bluetooth connection. Only via the aux port.

Misunderstood Rog, will be interesting to see as I need my LR bluetooth available to take calls [apart from weekends & eve's].

Re steering wheel controls - the unit streams through 'aux' and therefore at least the volume should be adjustable through the steering wheel controls [which is what will matter to me].
I can always skip tracks direct on my phone as it'll be mounted in front of me in the active holder [whereas when plugged into aux, the phone sits in the cubby box and is inaccessible to do this].

Will update on all this once I get and use it.
Thumbs Up

Got mine through a couple of days ago, only real disappointment is that the battery only last 2-3 hours but I have a usb socket plugged into the rear console point next to the aux socket so not that much of an issue to keep it charged

other than that im pretty impressed with it, switch it on, set head unit to aux and its paired. and Voila... streaming wireless music for less than £5

and my galaxy S5 can take 3 Bluetooth connections at once (head unit, aux adaptor and gear fit watch (which can control my phone music so need to remove hands from wheel Very Happy ) )

Update, after making it 'live' all the time (per above post) I can report that's it's a great piece of kit.
Used it when on a total 5 hr drive yesterday, made and received calls whilst streaming music and very impressed.
Phone cut in - music cut out, phone cut out - music cut in.
Just made the feel of the FL2 go up a notch or two.
