Seems to me someone had a tatty LR and wanted it fixed, however overtaking in a ditch and trying to regain the road where tractor is doesn't seem the best way to improve its bodywork Laughing my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Not relevant though. The point is, you have the option to flee or fight as nature intended; you don't with a gun. Thumbs Up

You really think that's more just? Shocked

The question was....How I would choose to be murdered (escape was not an option)

Joe Fix it until it's broke !

Ask yourself this - if you were going to be murdered, which would you consider to be more just - someone stabbing/strangling you in person, or being shot by long range sniper?

I worked on several field sport estates in my youth, I'm afraid anyone who says fox hunting with hounds is an 'effective' means of fox control is a bit ignorant.

They still fox hunt in my local town.
And in the process trample through private gardens breaking down fences and garden furniture.

These chaps [and chapesses] really do have a law unto themselves.
All us other UK mortals thought hunting a fox was banned and also that it was illegal to trespass on private property..... not them however. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

A spokeswoman for the RSPCA said: "We were called about an incident involving a fox in the area of Oulston Road, Easingwold, York on Saturday (27 February) and are assisting police with their ongoing investigation."

When my daughter was 11 she went on a school outing to Chatsworth house and got into conversation with a man that thought she would be into fox hunting as she had her own pony.
Her teacher told me she countered every argument he put forward on fox hunting including asking how could he say fox hunting kept down the number of foxes while also saying the hunt actively encouraged foxes to breed.
He eventually gave up and thanked her for the conversation.
The teacher then asked if she knew that the man she had been talking to for the last 20 minutes was the Duke of Devonshire. Mine, Saab convertible

That's the problem - there isn't. A pack of dogs is, in practice, a sure kill - yes it's not pretty, but it's over quickly. Shooting leaves injured animals to die in agony, and poison is even worse. I'm actually not pro-hunting and would prefer that it didn't happen, but I am a realist and can see that there's a need to control the fox population and that shooting really isn't the best way.

Of course the Censored fox is humane in its kill, after having a visit just after 7 this morning, the Censored has torn the heads and necks off, ripped the guts out of three and taken the fourth away, he doesn't give a Censored how it kills needlessly. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
