Roof rails for hse panoramic roof

Hi just found this forum so here goes with my first question . I have hse with panoramic roof and want to fit roof rails so to then proceed to roof box. Oem products are about but state not for sunroof types . Has anyone fitted the oem rails on a hse ? Does it work?

There are 2 types of OEM rails one for solid roof and another for panoramic roof models (Giving additional clearance for glass roof when opened) A search here will provide detail discussion on the differences. My advice would be buy correct OEM for your model. 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

Alternatively look at the ones made by manufacturers such as Thule which can be removed when not needed.

Have a look at www.roofbox,co.uk to get an idea although widely available from other suppliers.

Make sure which multi storey car parks you use too so it still goes in when only the rails are fitted. Embarassed

I only have 14.684 mm (37/64 inch) clearance getting into our garage with rails and cross bars & 28 psi in the tires! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

I am going to go for the correct type from Land Rover its gonna cost a lot more then the others but don't want the hassle or to buy new glass. Sunroof on tilt gets used a lot by me
I have had this one 6 years and plan to keep for another 6.
