Cracked radio screen

Someone in the family has either been a bit ham fisted putting a CD in or the screen failed anyway. The issue is does anyone know ?
1. how to remove the radio in an FL2 and
2 where I can source a new screen from anywhere (I have an electronics background so I can probably fit it)

You need to remove the dash panel.
From memory you need to remove the top speaker housing there are three clips holding this in place, one either side and one at the back, a really good firn tug is required to get this to come up.
Under here are two torx screws. There are two further torx screws under the pimpled mat which simply prises out.
The gear surround, the silver part will lift off with a good tug, this exposes two further torx screws in the lower part of the central dash, remove all six screws and the dash section will then pull off, be careful as there is a plug connector on the back for the switch bank, unclip that and the whole dash piece can then be removed, be careful with it.

The radio is then held in place with further torx screws, 4 I think, they're obvious once the dash is off, simply pull out the radio and replace.
To assemble is simply screwing it back together on reverse, just watch the switches for aircon etc are lined up when you pop the front back on or they get stuck at an angle.

HTH Thumbs Up
