Some boys on the D3 forum run them all year round and are getting over 50k miles to a set.

Have thought about that but as they are pass their best at 4mm I keep them as winters, didn't want to run them then approach winter with 5mm and need to change them in December Thumbs Up p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

I think £15.00 per corner is a fair price. Andy.

Picking up my first Freelander on Saturday, tyres need changing so I've asked them to put Goodyear Ultra Grip tyres on rather than new summer tyres then swap in a month, haven't been able to find much about them but found a post on disco3 that they were once one of the Land Rover recommended winter tyres. Will get some evoque wheels and tyres off the bay come Spring time.

2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Zermatt Silver

I have already pre-ordered my hakkapeliitta 7 with spikes to beat the winter insanity over here, great price at 200 quid fitted and balanced per corner on a 17, last year my car was pretty awesome on spikeless conti's, this year it will be unstoppable : )

Quick Tip, if you can, use rims 17 or smaller. Last year I drove on 18s and in slower deep snow, it would freeze to my rims and was shockingly wobbly out on the open road afterwards : )
