My 07 always bleeped under 4 Degrees, but can't say I have noticed it on this one. Just get the snowflake. Mind you, as said on another post, I don't get the glow plug lamp either. I suspect it's just another quirk, never two the same!!

I get a (loud) beep on low fuel but nothing on low temp.
I have had plenty sightings of the snowflake recently though. Now: 2012 FL2 SD4 XS Orkney Grey
Previously: 2007 D3 TDV6 XS Tonga Green
Before that: 2003 FL1 TD4 "Kalahari" Black

no low temp beep on my MY11.

Had it on my MY08 but hated it as it sounded too much like an error warning sound thus had me thinking my car had a fault.

From memory I have heard the bleep on mine (MY11), but not recently when below 5 degrees on startup, it does however, bleep if going from 5 to 4 or lower when on the move.

My 2011MY has never done it but that could be because I disabled the seat belt warning chime as soon as I got it. Please note that I do wear my seat belt on the road but we have a long drive with a gate at the bottom and it was annoying to have it chiming away. Andyfr

That's a good point I also disabled this for the same reason!

Mines more of a bong than a beep

Now there's a thought, going to try that one tomorrow morning as I also disabled the seatbelt chime in June 2010. Never heard the cold weather warning chime before, or since!

Seatbelt warning chime has been disabled for years.
Still get the annoying chime when the temperature drops. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

Well that puts that one to rest then! seat belt warning reactivated, still no ice warning beep, seat belt warning deactivated again.
Topic done to death now as far as I'm concerned! Some have it, some don't. The typical LR quirkiness I've become used to in 2.5 years of ownership Laughing
