Think I will be formatting off though as a few parts of windows are buggy so going to try again from scratch, want it to be perfect before I try the install.

Thanks that's great! Any tips on prising the top speaker cover out?

Jon

That's easy - go to the top leading edge i.e nearest the windscreen and start at the R/H corner. Put under this corner a soft tool (plastic knife for example) and so as not to mark the surface of your dash place a soft pad on the dash to use as a leverage point. Then place the plastic knife under the R/H corner and lift up that corner. Once this corner is lifted you then slide the knife around the other edges to complete the lift off of the dash centre speaker cover - that is if you have a speaker installed under there Exclamation

If you have the factory's Premium Alpine system there will be one, if you have the standard Alpine or the bog standard sound system there will be no speaker fitted - just a big empty hole. Thumbs Up
