We had snow last night in Notts. Went out this morning first thing to get the papers and try out the Avon Ranger Ice tyres. Very impressed! Good traction in loose and compacted snow and slush; minimal tramlining where others had been before; very confident braking with minimal ABS action. Found it better to positively drive round a bend rather than trail the throttle which can lead to understeer. (just make sure you are not going too fast to start with!) GGS setting used throughout, requiring greater throttle pedal travel but car felt totally confident. Very pleased.

I've just let loose with the RRS in a 30 acre field making pretty wheel patterns over the untouched snow, childish but fun. My lad was laughing his head off. some dog walkers looked at us over the hedge as if we had gone mad.
