Hairdryer and thin fishing wire will cut through the tape when you have softened it
No hairdryer needed... We have something called the sun to heat up the tape Very Happy

Australia 2007 Freelander 2 i6 SE Auto Tambora Flame

I have been eyeing up these sill kits (LR002525 I believe). I like the look of the front plates, but if they just stick down with double sided tape, then I am not quite so keen.

It seems everything 'fancy' just stick down in the FL2. The other thing I have been eyeing up is the woodgrain plastic fascia kit (LR002462) but these too just stick on like a veneer. Anyways, that is another thread for another day! 1st time FL2 owner. 2007 SE i6 in Tambora Flame.

The front scuff plates look great and the dont' look stuck down at all. The back ones, however, look stuck down but more with gummed sticky stuf rather than 3M tape TBH.

I have the metal look strips on the facia and it look great Thumbs Up I'm not a wood grain look fan.
