signal lenses on the side vents

How do these come out anyone know? I'm not going to try and pry them out with a screw driver. Also I cant get a hold of the lenses with my hands.

is there a special tool?

thanks '08 LR2 SE - Zermak Fully loaded Smile

There are no tools needed, its simply a matter of sliding the lamp along and it pops out. How it's done is in the handbook that came with the car, in the section on changing bulbs.

It will be interesting to see if/when LR release a snorkel for the FL2, as won't it have to fit over one of the side indicators?

Hi,

I fitted some last week to my FL2 XS. Took about 2 mins. They slide towards the front of the car and then gentle ease out the back end with your finger or tool. If you are still having probs let me know and I will post some step bt step pics Thumbs Up

Strange that manufacturers aren't doing this as standard, because on almost every car I've had the clear versions look better than the orange...........

The clear versions on the FL2 get a big Thumbs Up

Shocked Very Happy Whistle

BTW the clear do look cool on the FL2, I have a set ordered for my RRS but they are going on "Wifey's" Freelander instead Thumbs Up “You feel uneasy, as the mad scientist locks the door behind you & dissolves the key in a vat of Acid”

So they matched the side repeaters to Tambora Flame and the rest of us simply have to put up with it Laughing

Be fair now, they did take the Rimini Red owners into consideration when they chose the colour for the brake/rear lights Wink

How much did each of you pay for your side repeaters? I bought mine with a best offer from sixoneservice and they were excellent to deal with. BTW, in my view clear looks best with Sumatra Black.
