Service Error Message

Is anybody else getting the following message

Quote:
Service Temporarily Unavailable

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Additionally, a 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I get it when going from one section to another, going back to the posts list and then just comes back

Been happening for last hour or so, clearing cache didn't change anything. Seems OK now

Thumbs Up

I emailed Martin the details of the error earlier, thought a thread to see who it was effecting gives better results as i was getting this last week also, but put it down to my broadband Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Mr Pinks
That Service Error message has appeared many times since the change of server. I've grown accustom to it because if I take no action and go back one step in my history file it refreshes Freel2 and then shows that the reply posting I was initiating was accepted and embedded in the Thread. I put it all down to my MAC and its Safari browser not handshaking with Martin's new server. Would be good to get the hiccup out of the way though as it is a distraction.

I seem to be getting the message "Unable to connect to the server", this only happens when uploading pictures, it may do it when uploading one but if I attempt to do more than one it definitely fails to connect.

I had a hell of a time uploading pictures yesteray also. Worked about one in 4 efforts (25%) but never if more than one picture was included. Haven't tried today.

Isn't the server the phpBB group, which hosts a lot of forums via a template on the web free of charge once you have a domain name? If so, may be an over capacity thing?

^ No, it's hosted by me on a paid-for server, not a free host.
