Vrindner you can always find full size spare wheels on Ebay for the Frelander. Probably alot cheaper than the stealers. Ralph

Try this apge on Ebay for your spare wheel etc. You should find a new one on here. I could have got closer but I dont know the size you require:

This is where a faux pas of such proportions would be greeted with a mock jibe,
but under new censorship rules we have to leave it there Thumbs Up

Wow, thanks for all the replies everyone.
Yes, I am looking on ebay for an additional tire & wheel but, need to stick to the US ebay site for shipping cost.

What tyres would you put on a full size spare? As most tyres I see have a rotational direction on them.

As you are only gonna use the spare, until you repair the other one, I wouldn't care. Thumbs Up 2010 Freelander 2 Select TD4 auto....gone

Twice I have suffered a puncture with my FL2,one of those times was on New Years Day 2009 when I was 130 miles from home. Im not half glad I specified a full sized alloy spare when I bought the car.
It is absolutely rediculous how LR can penny pinch when there is a perfectly usable spare wheel well. On a vehicle such as this a full sized spare should be supplied end of story
I don't think I could buy a vehicle where you don't even have the option of a spare.

I don't think that BMW supply a spare with the Minis, may be wrong but someone will know for sure.
On a R Censoredv 4 its an option also.
