Modern design and materials mean this shouldnt be nessecary and every KG helps.

No we don't want it lighter just leave it as it is, the weight as it is go's towards making it the best towcar I've ever had.

with engine remapping now as easy as pressing a button to change settings why not incorporate that in to the engine management system so you could have a switch/dial to load economy or performance on the go?

i think the sliding rear seats are a good compromise for the lack of boot space, generally my boot is adequate apart from holidays when I only have kids in the back so reducing legroom isn't a problem, when transporting adults about legroom could then be increased to business class !
