I was in Guy Salmon this morning and saw this FL2 Sport so I took some pics:

Looks smart, but the name Sport just does not seem to fit somehow
Maybe Touring or something similar. However the version with the plastic bits stuck on might suit the Sport name  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

Oh yeah! thought it was the lighting in the photos, didn't realise they were 2-toned......

i think they are grasping at straw trying to class that as a Sport edtion

At leasts give it a set of furry dices, a subwoofer box thing in the boot and some flame transfers if they are wanting to attract a boy/girl racer

Putting sport after a none sporty car (al-la Range Rover SPORT ) sometimes doesn't quite work

It would be better named a like the previous FL1 with out there name's like Kalahari, or Zimbabwe or Mogadishu

Freelander 2 S Height and be only availble in brown

Npinks - I agree that sport is not the right name for this considering how else it used used in the Land Rover range. For the winter special edition they should have picked something more appropriate....Himalaya...Trossachs...Ben Nevis...as there is nothing sporty about this car at all..no lowered/tuned suspecsion...sportier engine...sportier transmission set ups..nope diddly squat

A missed opportunity and a brand disaster Mr Land Rover

Or how about Freelander True Grit...the councils might not have any but the Freelander has!

I like the wheels, i think they look smart but cant seem them looking like that for long after they have met the curb and been taken off road! I appear to be addicted to Landrovers...

TD5 D-Lander hopefully finished soon!
