Transfer box (PTU) or propshaft? And which parts?

Hi folks,
For a number of months I had a click sound come from underneath when I lift the clutch each gear change. Having it up on the lift in work I can hear the click when I try and turn the propshaft by hand and it seemed to come from the propshaft where the donut/centre bearing is. Down into the propshaft rabbit hole I go!!!
Been searching online and found there are two different propshaft options for 2013 manual 2.2 diesel. One up to chassis no DH331686 and the other from DH331687 (mine), however, both the transfer box and haldex are the same for either chassis no. Can anybody shine any light? Is the donut in a different position?

A worn bearing noise has since developed,(no propshaft change yet). I've had the 'chassis ears' on various places on the PTU and it's clear the bearing at the propshaft is going.
Now the click has developed into a short ratchet sound (like a wind up toy car rather than 1/2" ratchet) which leads me to thinking either it's solely the PTU bearing failing or it's that AND the propshaft.
I have the opportunity to purchase a 2011 manual 2.2 diesel donor (chassis BH*****) so according to the info I've gathered, the propshaft won't fit but the PTU will.....

I think I've confused myself.......
