Found this in the drivers footwell. Canโt see where itโs come from. Any known areas this may have come from?

I know it's not what you want to hear but it could be from anywhere under the dashboard. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !

The other option is it's left over from build, one of those screws that fell out of specialised holder when fitting those can't get at screws in the factory, interesting both cars are 2014. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

That's the one. Just had a look at mine, actually it was a bit loose, 7mm socket. Maybe I overtightened mine removing these panels a few times.
