Turn the stands by 90°, as the metal isn't thick enough to support the weight on those tiny contact areas.

I put blocks of wood between axle stand and chassis support 2.

I jack mine up then put stands ( large blocks of wood ) under the jacking points 1 2009 FL2 S now gone

Blocks of wood have a lot going for them, and I use them myself too. The rear is lifted from the rear diff support cross member with a trolley jack. This leaves the side jacking points for support with axle stands, or stout (not end grain) wooden blocks. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold. Hyundai Ionic 5 Ultimate on order. Gone. 2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. |

I use blocks of wood and axle stands in the number 2 position on both the pictures above. I don't trust the cill jacking points and my axle stands don't fit on them.
