Apparently not removing the 70ml of oil won’t make any difference. Dont think I’ll be reversing too much on full lock in the future. Time to consider getting rid I think and get a cheap runabout

70ml is nothing, and there's plenty of space above the filler hole, so I can't see how 70ml makes much difference.
Apparently there's a magic cure, but the person who said there was never came back to share what this magic cure was. Big Cry 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.
Gone. 2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE.

Nobody can see the 70 ml making any difference 😬- I wonder what the wonder cure is 🤪. I’m sure Bell can fix it, but it’s a long way from Yorkshire but it might be needs must . The garage who serviced the Haldex said it didn’t look too clogged, but there was swarf in the screen, but he didn’t think excessive. Showed me a picture but I couldn’t tell how bad it was . I’ve seen worse pics on here !

So, if you remove say 500ml from the PTU then you return 500ml of fresh and no need to worry about overfilling it??
I am not too bothered if i get out less than what should come out as fresh oil, even mixed with old oil is better than old oil Shocked

That's assuming of course the correct amount was in the box to start with

Doing the correct procedure, it's seems silly and a PITA but you will end up with the correct amount required.

I did mine a couple of weeks ago, using the correct procedure.
My shudder has now gone, but I suspect it'll be back as the fluid degrades
I'm thinking I'll change the Haldex fluid annually, to make sure it's always clean and fresh. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.
