You can plug tyres yourself. Apart from doing this in the outback, I have plugged 3 tyres for peoples' cars in our street alone. Mainly to have a bit of fun to send a message of how easy it is. It's worth the look on people's faces. Plug tyre, what pressure do you want, run compressors for about 25 seconds. Easy. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Something I learned in my Disco3 / 4 days was to change the nuts every 2 years.

When I bought this one in December last year I already had a 22mm socket with me for the drive home and sure enough, when I got home and went to put the new nuts on more than half were swollen. One needed a 23mm it was so bad! Current driveway contents:
