Audio upgrade (easy and cheap) with Bowers & Wilkins

I made a small and inexpensive upgrade to the radio s system (the basic one with integrated amplifier is installed on my car) by replacing the two front door speakers. Effectively the system is not the best including the speakers. I made the replacement as the one on the left was croaking.
At this point I thought I'd do a search to find something decent, cheap and at the same time simple and quick to install, avoiding modifications to the electrical connections and the use of adapters.
After some time spent checking dimensions, hole positions, powers and impedances, I came across a Russian forum where they recommended using the speakers they installed on the Jaguar XF.
Going deeper into the topic, I verified that they were completely compatible with our Free2( plug and play ). But the interesting thing was that these Kevlar and metal basket cones were made by the well-known manufacturer Bowers & Wilkins.
Yesterday I mounted the two speakers and you can't believe it but the audio quality has completely changed. Now the bass is really heard. Fuller, rounder bass that can fill the car cockpit. Considering that I have only replaced two and evaluating the result obtained, I think it's worth doing an audio update like this. It is obvious that we do not get an audiophile sound quality, as the basic system is what it is and cannot give that much, but certainly more pleasant and less annoying and finally with the presence of real bass.
The technical characteristics of these cones should be these:

1) Power rms: 35W
2) Impedance: 4 Ohm
3) Kevlar membrane with the characteristic yellow color
4) Spare part code ( Jaguar ): 8x23-18808-AB

The photos of the installation on my car door.

John,

When you say your system is the basic one, can you be more specific? Is it the one with the CD player, the Bluetooth phone and the Alpine branded speakers?

sorry for my delay, the stereo radio is this one with the cd player and six buttons. The speakers are not from Alpine but from FOMOCO 20W 4 Ohms, I show you the photo:

Thanks, John. My system is this one with Alpine branded speakers. I wonder would the B&W speakers be a worthwhile upgrade for them? Any thoughts?

go sure, B&W has never disappointed.
I don't know how your Alpines sound so I don't know if you actually get a qualitative leap with the replacement. In my case there was and it is already heard only by replacing the two speakers of the front doors.
