You could use an exhaust air jack. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

An air jack wouldn't really be much use here, (assuming he has one,) he needs to be able to slide the car sideways, hence the trolley jack suggestion.
Having said that, wheel dollies would be a better idea.

With the air jack you can get to the far corner. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Right sit rep, AA guy could not help so went about the starter motor method and I just cant get to the top of the start motor very well. But I did climb onto roof, good job I have a roof rack no dented roof leaned down took cap off and the key does unlock the door. The black lock unlock button moves.

So next question, I cant remember how I locked the car one press of the fob or 2. So if I open the passenger door insert long broom handle with a bent nail on the end and pull drivers handle will it open if I had press the fob twice. I hear something about lock disconnecting from handle. Is that the outside handle or inside handle or both??. GS Sd4 2012

The deadlock prevents the doors from being opened from the inside, another reason for not smashing the window unless you are able to climb through it to get the key in its dock, hopefully, you locked it with one press Whistle

Did the alarm go off when you opened the passenger door?

I didn’t open the door in case the alarm went off. I don’t want it going off as there will be a light of neighbours to annoy. GS Sd4 2012

Ah right, understandable, it does time out after about 5 minutes though.

On my FL2, only the driver's door handle will operate the other handles locking mechanism. i.e. the passengers door will not release the others.
You can tell if the doors are locked by the position of the little lever under the interior door handles.

Disappointed in that your call out assistance would not help. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

If the door is locked normally ie one press of the fob then pulling the drivers door handle will open the door like it does when you go to get out after it auto locks once you get past 8mph.
If I have locked it good and proper I am going to tape the fob to the end of the stick and push it into the docking slot. GS Sd4 2012

When camping we sleep in the car & the best way to have the car locked at night is to not use the remote. We reach forward contorting ourselves, with a single press, press the driver or passenger door lock. At night to dewater we can get out quietly from the rear quietly.

The broom handle or telescopic painting pole & a bent nail may work. Put some masking tape or similar (a bit of dish washing cloth & rubber band) around the nail so you are less likely to scratch the insides. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
