Brazil 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Fuji White

Alright, coincidence or not (probably not), now the engine seems to be misfiring.

Pay attention that the car is stopped in P, I'm pressing the gas all the way down, the engine is reluctant to accelerate and you can hear a "cleck" pretty much like a gasoline misfire.

Also, the car stalled already a few times while driving and I had to pull over and restart the engine.

Generic OBD2 reader is accusing CKP sensor, which seems to be fine and sometimes turbo failure, probably unrelated and appearing because of the stalling.

Replaced the diesel filter one more time and air filter just in case, no changes.

Would be that pointing again to a bad fuel injector (maybe leaking)? Freelander 2 2014 SD4 Automatic HSE Fuji White

If the reader is telling you CKP sensor, then for sure is something fishy about it, otherwise it wont report it.
So replace it, it's not that expensive.
The misfire and stalling could be, indeed, because of it. I've had it and as soon as the sensor was replaced, all went back to OK status.

Actually, it is expensive, about $200 in direct conversion in our currency.

Buying directly in the USA is about $20 but our currency is really bad world-wide Big Cry

Is there any way to diagnose that it is definitely the sensor?

By reading the DTCs I could say that the turbo is also failing but it is not Shocked Freelander 2 2014 SD4 Automatic HSE Fuji White

An error doesn't appear by mistake. Something was wrong about it and therefore it was stored.
That is the way that CKP sensor is behaving when is malfunctioning. Either is not working at all or it creates misfiring for the engine, especially on hard accelerations.
But, like I've said, if it also stored an error, then for sure is a goner. More of that, there are many cases when the ECU will not store any error and the sensor is still malfunctioning.
In that case is really a leap of faith, but when it stores an error...

Thank you very much, you two!

I found one FoMoCo with a good price, arrives this week, I will keep the topic updated if it fixed the stalling and/or the vibration. Freelander 2 2014 SD4 Automatic HSE Fuji White

Definitely guilty.

I cleaned it and remounted it, everything seems back to normal but I will replace the sensor anyway because one of the terminals is rusty and will probably fail again in the future.

So far, no changes in the vibration, guessing the rusty terminal is not guilty of the vibration but let's see after the new one arrives. Freelander 2 2014 SD4 Automatic HSE Fuji White

Hi, I have the same vibration at idle. I bought the car 2 weeks ago. Its a 2008 HSE 160hp.

1. I will try diesel purge solution.
2. I will verify the injectors at a professional shop.
3. Compression test on cylinders

I hope we will have luck in our quest.

Nope, I still didn't figure what's going on.

Although there is a new symptom: when I'm doing a roundabout, there is an odd noise in the back of the car similar to a wheel bearing or diff noise, but only when doing roundabouts.

Not sure how to diagnose since going straight it doesn't happen (jacking the car won't cause it, I'm guessing). Freelander 2 2014 SD4 Automatic HSE Fuji White

I found a temporary solution for my vibration: I set my idle speed at 800 rpm and is much better now.
I used autel ap2000 maxi app,

I you sure it will be memorized?
FWIK, the (new) set idle speed is active only on current ignition cycle. On next one, the default is set.
And also, the default idle speed is 800 RPM... At least this is how it's on mine.
