Anyone have any recommendations on this? Looking at the Xtron and Belsee kits, but also keeping in mind the mainstream brands plus a harness kit.

Are the Xtron//Belsee kits decent quality, and have everything I need to get things working? Am I better off getting a premium brand and sourcing the necessary adaptors etc separately?

Any experience/advice greatly appreciated!

I think the question is what you expect the unit to be able to do and what you mean by good quality. The units are well put together but the software needs a little coaxing in order to get the best from it.
