I have used two of these ........ Transit (keeping the Ford theme) Fuel Tank Strap.

Second photo .... of 'fixing bracket' 1of2.




Each tank strap has been bent & cut'n'weld, one being slightly longer than the other.
The shape of these brackets are defined by the curvature of the vehicles body.
