LED Headlights

I recently did a post over on Defender2.net about LED headlight bulbs. Bought some for a vintage motorcycle and were totally blown away - so bought some H4s for the Defender and was equally impressed.

Legalities? Please! We all know they're not strictly speaking compliant, but they pass MOT tests and frankly the improvement in light output and reduction in stress on the wiring loom is worth it to me.

The company I've bought them all from so far are classic-car focused, so I was surprised to see they stock HB3 bulbs. Worth every penny!

Be sure to check out the LED Bulbs..again thread as well.

I've been using these ones - NOVSIGHT 9005 HB3 45W - since the end of January and they've been fantastic; I paid £55.99 for them as there was a voucher at the time.

I’ve got H7’s in my MY2007 and the connector blocks hold the bulbs in place so the heat sinks fitted to LED’s get in the way. Crying or Very sad

I’ve got them as well and generally happy with them, just a little bit short of long range but close up they are miles better than standard. 64 plate TD4 SE Santorini Black
