I don't understand why people who have no interest in F1, go around the forums,
not just this site, but all over the internet, and tell everyone how boring it is for them.

As a non-football fan myself, I would not even waste my time and energy to post on all the football forums, that it is boring to watch fully grown men/women kicking a piece of leather about a field.

Good point, well made. Each to their own and all that. If they don’t like it, there’s always the off button that they are free to use. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I watch F1 using NowTV app on my LG TV. Also available on Roku and NowTV dongles.

You can often buy the NowTV vouchers on ebay or Currys for cheaper prices.

A £10 voucher will get you all the Sky sport channels for a week at discounted price.

I also have three-month passes on dongles that I bought during sales for £50, which works out at less than £17/month.

The downside with Sky F1 is Crofty the commentator, as he shouts too much, and I have to turn the sound down.

I used to be an F1 fan and even went to Silverstone and Monza but over the past few years it's become so predictable that unless something goes wrong then in most races if you watch the final Q3 qualifying then that will give you the podium result in the race. It's not racing any more, just the management of a high speed procession. Discuss Very Happy 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Adopt the BTCC system - draw grid positions out of a hat, ballast cars. Can just see Lewis now with big bag of sand strapped across the bonnet Rolling with laughter

If you have an Amazon fire stick or any android device (tablet/phone) you can watch it for free on kodi. Same with the football and PPV boxing. Thumbs Up Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Fernando's coming back!!

He'll probably retire again before Renault stand a chance of winning anything though. Steve

I've just started watching Formula E, mainly because my nephew has just transferred to that formula as the race engineer to one of the works drivers.

With all its 'special' laps with 'special' power settings, it seems more like a computer game. Although I have had it all explained to me, I am a little lost in understanding why it has to be so complicated.

It seems that you can tune in to hear what any driver/race engineer are saying to each other, as they plan their moves. I haven't tried it yet.

Not sure what Stirling Moss would have made of it!

PS I enjoyed watching his drivers best when he did GT3 and GT4 Sports Cars. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

Formula E is the future, for the next generation of race enthusiasts. For me it doesn't sound right, I'm still missing those engines we use to hear, in F1 of only a few years ago.

Our house is a "no football zone" but rugby/MotoGP is encouraged.

Good performance v Pakistan today. England presently seem to have that knack of pulling themselves together when their backs are against the wall. And this wouldn't have been their first choice T20 side
