Avoid, "Adrian Flux"

Another example of the way, Adrian Flux, are expensive, just found out to my dismay that my, Daughter in-law, has been ripped of to the tune of £1400 for my old Freelander. If I'd known about it sooner I would have sorted it out for her. " S**t Bags".
They ripped me off when I had my, Honda Acty pickup £179, NFU £80. B*******ds charged me £40 for 1 days insurance.

Yep you've really got to shop around - I change nearly every year. A a result I have no idea with whom I'm currently insured with. I have to keep a note handy.

When my daughters visits for a few weeks at a time from Oz . I found the cheapest way (again after lots of shopping around) was to insure for 6 months and then cancel and get the unused amount refunded.

Its so much easier when we go to Oz - we just drive her car as its insured for any driver meeting the criteria - thats normal over there I believe. Jules

Can't she just cancel the insurance within 14 days unless you have had an accident? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

My Evoque is with LV. No insistence on a tracker and pan roof covered under the glass policy. Three years running their renewal quote has been the cheapest - even if going with them as a 'new customer'. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

LV refused to give me house insurance as I have oil fired central heating. They now only offer it to existing customers. Has anyone else come across this? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

I've been with LV for many years, up until this year when LV sold the insurance side of the business. Freelander went up just under £50, house insurance rose by £104. Now with, More than. Bit upset about that as I have my pension with LV and obviously was getting a discount. Saved nearly £200 by changing.

I had my mini with, Carol Nash, brilliant company and cheap. When it came to insure the, Honda Acty pickup, Carol Nash told me that unfortunately they did not deal with commercial vehicles, as I was collecting the Honda that day I turned to, Adrian Flux, on the understanding that they did, "Classic insurance for commercial vehicles", when in fact they didn't. It was only later in the day I realised they had stitched me up, and charged me £40 for cancelling the same day.

I moved house recently and Flux asked for a £30 administration fee. I queried that this seemed a bit steep just to alter my address on computer, call taker consulted with manager and they then did it for free. I was happy with that.
My son's policy with Admiral insisted that he pay an admin charge.

Direct Line don't charge for changes, nor putting my daughter on the wife's car for 10 days. Thumbs Up Common sense isn't very common.

I was with Adrian Flux till I change cars going from a 57 plate FL2 to a 13 plate FL2 and they wanted an extra £350 on top of £420 I was paying at the time. That was 6 years ago. I get a quote from them each year but, it’s always way out. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green
