Evoque seats into a Freelander

Hi all, I've done a bit of searching but no definitive answers...

Has anyone fitted these into a Freelander themselves... I.e actually knows what's needed?

Am trying to do this but so far have found the evoque seat rails are about 15-20mm narrower so do not fit on the Freelander base...
Does anyone know if the floor plans are the same Evoque/Freelander? Or will I need to do some fabricating..??

Not worried about the electrics, have that all figured... Just how best to bolt them down...

Think they will look good done... Might even wire in the seat heaters to... Smile

Cheers

Different floorplan. Only 30% of the Evoque floorplan is the same as the Freelander 2, basically from the front axle back it's different.
Don't think it's been done and don't think it is easily doable.

Hmmmm, might be a first then... I can fabricate some metal to make it work just wondered if it could be made easier... Will just need a couple of extra holes in the base rails and a metal strip to narrow it slightly...

Was just hoping it might be easier... Lol

This is the base left.... One side of it can be used the other needs adapting to bring the holes in a bit...
Tomorrows project...

I did PM him and look at his... Didn't look like Evoque seats... More ff Range Rover...

Not replied as yet... Was interested if he bought it like it or fitted them himself...

I'm good friends with him. He's not an active forum member on here anymore. They are evoque seats that he got fitted around a year ago IIRC MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

You've clearly not sat in mine then... Lol

I get back ache just looking at them... Prefer the comfort of my defender...

But then I probably should have just got some HSE Freelander seats... But where would be the fun in that Smile

Thumbs Up

Once I have figured out the wiring I'll try and do a how to...
Passenger seat is easy but drivers not so... Has memory module which I somehow need to bypass....
