Canada 2007 LR2 i6 HSE Auto Tambora Flame

So what's the verdict on the mudflaps? Once properly installed are they secure? Do they provide adequate protection from mud and gravel? Are they even necessary? I will be driving on gravel roads and I'm hoping to protect the car from rocks. I don't want to put down $274 CDN if they're not necessary/don't work.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Baltic Blue

My GS alaready had mudflaps fitted when I got it.

Is this some sort of dealer option, or do specs vary across Europe?

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver

Your dealer had put them on, no spec has them as standard. D4 HSE Lux for me
FL2 HSE Zermatt & Alpacca for the wife now gone
Skoda Yeti L&K for the wife.
