LR invite to see the LRX next tuesday (Piccies now uploaded)

I received an invite this morning, that I have accepted, to see the LRX Concept car next tuesday (9th) evening at the Reading Showroom. I'm really keen to see it as I like the looks and it could end up being my next car! Thumbs Up

Anyone else got an invite for their local showroom and is going? Chris

No invite from Hunters in Guildford - perhaps they don't have one yet? Saying that, they haven't been in contact since about a week after I bought the car which is pretty poor. Think they could learn a little from some of the other dealers around the country. 08 Santorini Black HSE manual with DAB and privacy glass

Was in hunters at the weekend, they spoke about this LRX concept viewing sometime in Sept. Said current owners will probably get an invite so keep a lookout for it. Phil

All good questions to be asked next tuesday. As its just the Concept, the interior will be one of the firsts to be modified for production back down to "normal". Bean Counters will see to this. Sad Chris

OK - been there and had the preview. Absolutely stunning in the metal! Real dynamic and exciting way forward for LR as a company. Very, very leading edge. Just depends what makes it into production. No details were given on any of this.

Love the 20" wheels!,

Hate the seats (definitely not production friendly),

Like the dash,

Love the exterior shape,

Love the ext mirrors (too small for production I think),

Love the boot lid. Silly wine cooler in boot and wine bottle holder on end of boot lid - defo not production IMHO.

No details on engine, dates, price blah/blah

See my pics I've uploaded here: -

Oh, and loved the wine and nibbles too - better than curly sandwiches Wink

Saw this outside - loving the Blue!

That's Martinique Blue and it would appear that every dealer in the land has one in their showroom! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

The wheels are too shiny and the interior is too fussy and 'bling'. If they make the wheels silver/grey and the interior matt and leather (whilst keeping all the curves and angles etc.) it would be a mighty beast Thumbs Up "CY from DISCO3"
