United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Baltic Blue

Well we had it very hot in the south of France this year & during the day in the shade it was 45-47 most days !
I have to say once it rose much over 44 it became quite uncomfortable !

Freelander was fine and AC was good too. one of my mirrors did start groaning each time it folded but was fine when it cooled down.

Ukraine 2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

We were in south of France for about 6 weeks of a holiday in 2011. Driving an old 1980s Peugeot 405 Coupé auto without air conditioning. I remember saying to other half: I will never complain about Sydney temperatures again! We had day after day of 43°C or more. Last year it wasn't much better in Italy in some areas!

We made a "fridge" in the boot increasing the thermal mass with about a dozen 1.5L bottles of water. Left them out overnight to cool down and during the day covered everything with clothes. Most importantly it worked quite well and kept the wine at a reasonable temperature!

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Narvik Black

-8ºC in Luxembourg yesterday morning - I was glad I'd had the glow plugs replaced in October.

Off to the Alps in February when it will get down to minus double figures. Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?
