I found the Evoque towing review and that had same bar as what his planning, so I don't think he has anything to worry about Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

The problem of <67mm arises when a bog standard fixed flange tow ball is fitted for use with a n Al-Ko stabiliser hitch. An Al-Ko ball or (one meeting the same spec) should be fitted and all will be well.
