Made my first bread today without a bread maker. Sort of 50/50; food processor for kneading and knocked back by hand. My Aunty told me to put a bowl of warm water in the oven to improve texture. Result? Yummy. Shan't be buying a bread maker now thanks to you Bill Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

The only advantage of the SD25002 is that it has an automatic nut/raisin dispenser - fine if you make those types of loaves. It is taller/wider/deeper than the 2500. Having said that, I've just nicked some spices and dried fruit off of my mum and I'm making a spicey fruit loaf so I will have to wait for the timer to tell me when to chuck the dried fruit in.
