Put some Smoked repeaters on today.
The clear were too white against the black vent.
btw, clear repeaters & orange bulbs will be for sale if anyones interested.

got some clay there from a trip up the moors a few weeks back - still stuck like glue!! FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Looks miles better I did mine gloss black with hycote lense paint and it blends in 100% with gloss black vents!

Yep dark is def better than white on the black vents.
Was going to spray mine with some of the Hycote tint spray I've got left.
But with the smoked repeaters at under £12, I felt it wasn't worth the hassle spraying (plus I'll get a few quid for the white ones)
And I've only got a small amount of tint spray left and I'll save that for the white high level brake light. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Couldn't get used to those HUGE spats on the front underside.
So rather than buy the short variant [that LR now have the sense to fit] I decided just to chop the originals.

That really is a lovely car. I like almost everything.

If you don't mind me asking, how much have you spent in total? I would love to mod mine but I know fine well I would bankrupt myself.

OK took further steps to ruin my bog standard GS today.

Got the grill spars painted gloss black - to match the gloss black wheels, side vents & other detail.

Today did some interior electrical stuff.

Fitted my Brodit 'active' phone holder/charger with an FL2 Brodit dash clip.


Installed the Tom Tom
Bloomin heck, that speaker panel sure took some effort.
Decided to keep the metal spring clips off for when I need to gain access again
[the panel still sits in tight without the clips]


Installed my Blackvue camera.
Hated driving around without it these last few weeks.
I felt so vulnerable after being used to it for around the last 4 years or so.
