United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

My rear washer shoots a jet and works fine.

I don't find the headlamp washers too effective, I'm sure they work as well as can be expected, but I often find myself getting out and wiping them with a cloth. I'd prefer if I could choose for them not to operate because they don't half use a lot of water, which means refilling the tank quite often, I've gone through 20 litres of concentrate over the winter months.

While mentioning headlamps I had my first bulb failure the other day. So off to Halfrauds to see what H7's were available. Found some Quartz +50% something or other, £19.95 each, but buy one get one free.

I replaced the 'duff' one straight away in Halfrauds car park and noticed an improvement (no, not just because it worked !!) but there was a difference between the new one and the remaining factory original. My impression of the headlights has always been that hey are good, but these +50% bulbs have made them better still. If I wasn't so tight I should really get another pair of H7's for the mains too!

I been looking at the Osram Night Breakers which say 90%, but when they are £20 a pair and I would want to change the 4 bulbs

Going to see what the mother in law sells at her place of work I am sure they do something simular, but i'll get it at cost Very Happy

The last time she got me something was some glass light shades, it cost me £5 for 4 of them B&Q was selling the same at £11.99 each. Shocked Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
