Did you not notice when taking that picture that a bunch of gypsies had camped right behing your fl2,watch out they will be nicking your wheels.

The little door is for Mrs pinks, as soon as Nick is asleep she sneaks out through it and checks into the nearest hotel for the night, has a nice bath, uses a normal toilet, sleeps comfortably has a delicious breakfast, then sneaks back in and wakes lazy bones up. Only to hear him whinging all day about his bad back caused by sleeping on the gypsy bed in the van.

Gammba don't tell everyone you have no caravans in Dubai, Enjoy it quietly otherwise the vaners will descend on you as soon as they hear there is a part of the world un-plagued by them Laughing

Rolling with laughter I'm 6'3" so that would be a little bit of a squeeze

Thats the entrance the the fixed rear bunks, but the bottom bunk lifts up and it's then used to for storing the bikes etc. Thankfully the door can only be opened from the outside so the young one can't escape when its bedtime. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Rolling with laughter

I got on quite well with my Romanian Mates,

When i was leaving I told them about a nice farm which was not too far away with a "Eat all you can Chicken Buffet".

Which they thought it would be nice as they are starting to get bored of eating swans. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

CG I can't believe you go on about how much you hate caravans Exclamation

I Looked at your location when giving my mates your address and to my surprise i found you :-

1) Look to own at least ten of them Shocked
2) Have a small caravan site on your land Shocked
3) Store caravans (taken money off the enemy) Shocked Shocked

Nice set up npinks! Next year we hope to be getting a Bailey Pageant Burgundy (fixed bed) to tow with our F2. One step at a time though and I can't wait for next month to pick up my SE.

I have to say - and I know this is tempting fate before the deal has been fully done - it is 10 out of 10 so far for James Tayler at Charles Hurst Land Rover. Buying 'long distance' is always a concern but James has been very helpful and put my mind at rest over my concerns. I know that there's 'many a slip twixt cup and lip' but fingers crossed everything will be OK.

Anyway, back to the off road thing - any info chaps? Ardgarten is of particular interest to me for summer.

Have you tried posting the question over on DISCO3, they seem to be a vast knowledge of off road tracks Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Nice work by the Pinkerton detective agency but:-

1. I don't put my really address into my profile

2. Photo-shopping caravan sites onto my near neighbours lawn is cheating.

3. Feel free to park your van there anytime that field floods regularly.

4. The one caravan on my farm lives undercover, A mate of my dads stores it in our barn but sadly I accidentally placed 60 tonnes of fertiliser in front of it so its not coming out of that barn in the near future Laughing

Pete there are events every month/ 6weeks in the Argyll Forest about 30 minutes drive from Ardgartten, down near Lochgair and behind Lochgilphead. The best place to watch out for these events is the events section of the Land Rover UK Forums here - http://forum.landrovernet.com/forumdisplay.php?f=64
They are also posted on the D3 and RRSport forums events sections. They are quite full on offroading events although there are routes for those who don't want to rip body panels off their shiny new cars!

The Scottish Land Rover Owners Club also have Green Road Runs into the Ardgartten Forest and also at Glen Shira
just before Inveraray - watch the events section here http://www.slroc.co.uk/ The events you might like to join in with are the Green Road Runs which are non damaging (although you might get the odd scratch as Andy who runs the events always seems to manage to find a gorse bush right at the location entrance!) How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
