I6, petrol? Probably not far off.

£1.589/litre with derv at £1.839 Neutral three days ago at our local Texaco (consistently cheaper than our nearest Tesco & Morrison's).

Shame that there’s some that still find this is acceptable.

As for their supposed location of Shadbrook? That was the fictional fire station in London Burning, certainly not SE23

Changed the A/C condenser after the previous one went "fffffffutttt". Had the local garage do a vacuum purge of the residual gas a couple of weeks back in preparation for the task.

Took the opportunity to swap out two faulty parking sensors. The Land Rover gods must have been watching, as one of the other sensors is now showing a permanent fault state.... Big Cry Wondering if I pinched the wiring putting the bumper back on, so if the weather is clear next weekend I'll be taking it off again Laughing Current driveway contents:

Summer Wheels/tyres off, Winter Wheels/tyres on.

Three out of the four centre caps - genuine LR parts bought not more than a couple of years ago are falling apart with 'sparkle' metal covers coming away from plastic cap. When I bought them, two of the four fell apart within a couple of weeks and were exchanged. A third shortly after which I cleaned up and glued up myself - probably that one that is still in one piece Confused

Took out and cleaned the manifold and swapped out the gaskets and glow plugs. Found loads of sludge in the manifold as well as remnants of one of the swirl flap with with half a flap lodged in the inlet.

Only lost one bolt into the abyss of the bay and unfortunately sheered one of the awkward manifold bolts. Am hoping that the remaining ones are sufficient to keep it sealed.

The old plugs looked rough but all worked on testing. Manifold gaskets were crusty so the job was not totally a waste of time.

Now on to the injectors and replacing the spill pipes. Corrado VR6 Mystic Blue - Gone

Freelander i6 MOT

Took the i6 (2008) for the MOT and passed with no issues and being from Japan they are so free of corrosion, 3 years on it's been a really good 4x4
